 " If you want to be a winner, hang out with winners" By associating with winners, you try to imitate them, you are bound to observe them and follow the process of learning in a way they do.

Similarly, in Krishna Conciousness, if one wants to be successful in devotional service, association is quite necessary except for people who are really advanced and can manage to be in the right path in spite being alone. When you associate, if you are not in the right standard, devotees will help you to come up to that level.

I can chant better in Yatras as while chanting , I think" That devotee is chanting so nicely, why can't I . She is chanting without talking to anyone, let me also try."
