The Ticket

Yesterday, me and my Parents went to a devotee's house for a program which started with Kirtan, continued with Kirtan and ended with wonderful Prasadam.We prepared to leave, as it was already late. I came out fast and stood waiting for my mother but she never came for about five- ten minutes,  I got impatient and ran inside.I stood beside her and listened to the Mataji who was speaking to my mother
She was telling a very good point, that  we have this Krishna Conciousness in hand, we should nurture it and develop it to be successful in our mission.Srila Prabhupad has given us the ticket but we should be careful not to lose it and keep it safe so that we can catch and board the plane that will take us to Goloka Vrindavan.It is also like having the opportunity in hand, but not using it efficiently.
She was also telling that so many old people of her age keep asking her that how does she remain so happy and peaceful when there are so many problems.She told that when you are young, you don't understand the importance of chanting Hare Krishna, you might just feel it is a waste of time, but as you grow older, you will come to know its importance and value and to cultivate it at that time, is difficult as you will so many problems.
"Better late than never" so do it at least now.
So we are very lucky to be in this movement and Prabhupad has given us the ticket. Keep it safe and do not lose it!!!
