The Beauty of Nature
After spending a whole year in Bangalore - A Metropolitan City , I decided to at least spend my vacations in my native, Barkur which is not yet under the influence of the closest cities. I knew that in my native I would find it hard to spend my time but I just wanted to spend some of my days there and so I did.
My experience in Barkur was quite a lesson learning and a rejuvenating one. One afternoon I was just relaxing and I began observing a bird that makes a "whistling" kind of a sound and communicates. It was really fascinating to see that it came and started eating something that was lying there but unable to eat alone, it went and called its friend and both showed signs and ate together. Although this might be a day to day sight for individuals including me but that day I just began appreciating something that existed and had not been noticed so long.
Later I came to know from my grandmother that few days ago, a bird couple had been living there. The whole day the mother used to take care of the eggs and the husband used to fetch food. They had been repeating this routine for many days until the eggs hatched. On the first day when they hatched they were fed and taken care. On the second and the third day they were learning to fly. When my grandmother came out to see them on the fourth day, neither of them were there.
Firstly, there was such good communication among the birds. Secondly, we saw that there was sacrifice and care taken by the parents for their unborn children and when they were born, they learnt to fly and just flew away to lead a life of their own. Everything is arranged so well and systematically that surely there is some superior being who controls everything and makes everything run so smoothly and that supreme being is Lord Krishna.
Thus, I would like to conclude by saying that city life has really made us stay far away from nature, however we cannot leave it. So it would be really good if we can take out some time and appreciate the beauty of nature and start choosing to entertain ourselves through things that will refresh and inspire us like reading, a walk, an outdoor game of badminton, etc.
