The Teacup

A potter once brought some fresh clay to his shop. The clay being new to the shop, made friends with another teacup who was really beautiful unlike this one. The new clay was feeling bad for being so ugly. When his friend saw him feeling bad, he told "I was ugly too,once upon a time. But then I became beautiful.You too will be as beautiful as me. Keeping watching..!!" The next morning , the potter started his work on the clay. He pressed the clay hard with all his strength. The clay was like"Ouch that hurts..!!".  Then the potter took the clay and spun it on his wheel. The clay went dizzy. After much working and effort and clay got a fine shape of a cup. Finally, he was placed in an oven and the clay was cooking in there. After a while, the potter painted the clay with a beautiful color. The clay was again put into the oven and the clay  was unable to bear the heat inside.Finally, the potter took out the beautiful clay out and placed it with the other cups. His friend saw him and told him to look in the mirror. The clay exclaimed with joy " I look handsome.....after all this..!!!"
Then, clay understood - We have to undergo Hardships to get Rewards....!!!
