Cleanliness

"Cleanliness is next to Godliness" - Its a very famous and an inspiring proverb. This thought is very meaningful which conveys the message that being clean pleases the Lord and helps us to reach God.
We should always be clean and hygiene. This is stressed in schools too. A very good principle that our Principal taught us was to be responsible enough to keep at least our respective places clean independent of wherever we are.
Cleanliness also helps in propagating Krishna Conciousness. When we are clean, people will be impressed with the standards we maintain and slowly slowly when they get to know devotees, they will get to know about this wonderful philosophy which is very helpful.Thanks to Srila Prabhupad, that Iskcon temples are known for their high standards, principles and cleanliness.
We should be clean externally as well as internally. And pure internally means to be free from all offenses and anarthas.
